Winter is Winning: Do Some Planning

Last time I told you that winter was winning in my home. Today, let’s get to the paint point. I’m Dan Hansen and this is a minute at RepcoLite.
Everyone in my house is just slightly on edge–slightly amped up. It happens every year around this time and I know what it is – the winter blues, cabin fever . . . whatever you want to call it. We’ve enjoyed the winter for what it was . . . but I think we’re all ready to get outside. The sun finally coming out recently has definitely helped, but we’re all ready for Spring.
So what’s the paint point in all of that? Well, it’s kind of a stretch, but nothing makes the winter blues worse for me personally than inactivity. Slowing down and resting MORE actually ends up making everything worse. My kids say the same thing–if we force ourselves to get outside, to do something productive around the house everyone feels better and happier. The stress goes away for a bit and we don’t feel quite as blah.
So, yeah . . . you could tackle a paint project right now. And that might help. But that’s not really what I wanted to recommend today. Instead, I’m going to suggest doing a little planning. I’ll explain what I mean tomorrow. I’m Dan Hansen and that’s a Minute at RepcoLite.
