Reasons to Try Two-Toned Walls, Part 4

Transcript:

Two toned walls are cool anywhere in our homes . . . but they really excel in a kids room. I'm Dan Hansen and this is a minute at RepcoLite Paints sponsored by Benjamin Moore.

They're ideal for those spaces: they're fun, they can energize the room without overpowering it, and there's a lot you can do creatively with them. As a bonus, they're a simple way to compromise on color.

It happens in kids rooms all the time--either the parent overrides everything the kid wants and chooses the color . . . OR, the parent let's the kid pick ANYTHING. And then the room is bright yellow and fire engine red. Because kids can be dumb.

This is a way to compromise. Let your kid pick a color . . . work together to land on a VERSION of the color that works for both of you . . . and if it still feels too strong, or bold, use it on just a portion of the wall around the room. And balance it with a second color you paint on the other half of the space. Everyone wins. It's perfect. I'm Dan Hansen and that's a Minute at RepcoLite.
