Reasons to Try Two-Toned Walls, Part 3

Transcript:

I've been talking about reasons to consider using two-toned walls in your space. I've got two more today. I'm Dan Hansen and this is a minute at RepcoLite Paints sponsored by Benjamin Moore.

Let's start with this reason: two-toned walls can mimic classic elements like paneling or wainscoting—without using any actual wood or molding. By simply painting the lower half of a wall one color and the upper half another, you create the vibe of traditional paneling but with a modern, sleek twist. No extra woodwork, just paint!

Also, two toned walls can help you create an illusion of height and space in a room. For example, a horizontal two-tone line in a hallway or short room can make it feel longer, drawing the eye along the space. They can also help the room feel taller. when you paint the top half a lighter shade and carry that color onto the ceiling. That instantly creates a vibe of higher ceilings and makes the room feel more expansive. We'll wrap this up next time. I'm Dan Hansen and that's a Minute at RepcoLite.
