Reasons to Try Two-Toned Walls, Part 1

Transcript:

Let's talk about 5 reasons why you might want to try two-toned walls in your home. I'm Dan Hansen and this is a minute at RepcoLite Paints sponsored by Benjamin Moore.

If you're not familiar with this trend, it's exactly what it sounds like: Iwe’re seeing people take a couple of accent colors and split them on either one wall or they'll wrap the whole room. Most of the time they split the wall horizontally, one color on the lower section, one on the upper, but there are definitely other ways to do it.

For the next few days, And today's reason is this: Two-toned walls give you a way to bring drama and color into a space without overwhelming it. You can use a strong color in your space because it's usually balanced by a second color that tones things down a bit. That means a color that might be too dark, too heavy, too bold when used on a full wall, might be just perfect on only a portion of the wall. That's one reason.

We'll get to a second reason next time. I'm Dan Hansen and that's a minute at RepcoLite.
