How to Paint Two-Toned Walls, Part 2

If you're thinking about doing a two tone accent wall in your space, here's how. I'm Dan Hansen and this is a minute at RepcoLite Paints sponsored by Benjamin Moore.
Yesterday we covered the first step--and if you missed it, we're assuming the two-tone wall will be split vertically. First step is to decide on the height of the dividing line and then paint the top color on the wall, bringing it past that dividing line and feathering it out.
Next, after letting that top section dry for at least 24 hours, preferably longer, tape that dividing line using a safe release tape. Delicate surface frog tape--the yellow roll--is ideal. Any other tape over that fresh paint is likely to remove some of the paint when you pull the tape off.
