The People Who Know: Use the Dressing Room, Part 2

Last time I told you how I never use dressing rooms at clothing stores. And how my purchases routinely look terrible on me. I’m Dan Hansen and this is a Minute at RepcoLite.
Now, I want to get to the paint point, but first, I need to reinforce how badly this dressing room avoidance goes for me. A number of years back, I had to make a big presentation. And since I have 5 kids, that means I have no good clothes at all. They do. But I don’t. So we decided I needed some. That was fun. But then the shopping happened and I didn’t want to try anything on. So we did our best and bought some shirts, a tie and so on.
The night OF the event, I broke out my new clothes for the first time. And surprise, it was a disaster. The pants were so tight around my waste, I couldn’t feel my legs. When the shirts were buttoned, my neck bulged on either side like a mushroom. The only thing that fit was the tie. I don’t even remember what I wore to the event because I think I blacked out at that point from a lack of oxygen. It was a disaster. All because I didn’t try anything on ahead of time.
